In the review of the notice on “The selction and recognition of Merit Students, Outstanding Student Cadres and Advanced Class Collectives of Year 2022”of ordinary colleges and universities in Jiangsu Province issued by the Provincial Department of Education and the Provincial Youth League Committee of Jiangsu, our E-Commerce Class of 2001, School of Business won the Honorary Title of Advanced Class Collectives.

At present, there are thirty students in E-Commerce Class of 2001, School of Business and they have won ninety-one National and Provincial honorary awards including three national scholarships and nine provincial competitions. The E-Commerce Class of 2001 was also accredited the SCC Advanced Class Collectives title in the academic year of 2020-2021. Seven students in this class also served as the main principals of the Youth League Committee and the community. They were politically determined, highly qualified, united and cooperative, and played an exemplary and leading role of students’thought, studies and life and etc.

Manner and Discipline

These students abide by the rules and disciplines, cooperate in unity and keep forging ahead. The forming of a positive class atmosphere with rigorous class style and strong learning style through the leadership of professors and the guidance and supervision of the counselors as well as from the joint efforts of the class committee and all students. The class regularly carried out theme class meetings with the purpose for strengthening students’ ideological and political education and has a complete and reasonable class management system. This class achieved a perfect attendance rate throughout the academic year. Five students participated in the training course for party activists, three dormitories won the title of “Civilized Dormitory” and the passing rate for CET 4 & 6 has increased yearly. 

Academic Competitions

Students of this class are rigorous, realistic, hardworking, pioneering and innovative. They actively participated in various academic competitions and achieved excellent results. The list of awards are as below:

1. First prize of excellent creation in the student group of the Fifth National Youth Cup Art Design Competition.

2. Second prize of the Seventeenth “Challenge Cup” of Jiangsu Extracurricular Academic Works Competition.

3. Silver medal of the Seventh Jilin Provincial “Internet +” College Students’ Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition of China Construction Bank Cup.

4. Third prize of the Eleventh National College Students’ E-Commerce Three Innovation of Jiangsu Province.

5. Third prize of the Seventeenth “Challenge Cup” Jilin Extracurricular Academic Works Competition.

6. Third prize of the Seventh Jiangsu Provincial “Internet +” College Students’ Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition of China Construction Bank Cup.

7. Third prize of the Eastern Division Team of the Market Trading Group of the Regional Competition of the Eighth National Securities Investment Simulation Training Competition

8. Third and winning prize of Jiangsu Cross Border E-Commerce Skills Competition in 2021.

Campus Activities

The class attached importance to the development of comprehensive qualities, timely conveyed relevant spirit of SCC, organized and planned various forms of campus activities that include employment service month, spring festival carnival, thanksgiving series theme activities, reading activities, environmental protection month, which promoted the development of campus culture and enriched the campus life. The class actively participated in various competitions, not only they had won the first prize of the SCC Chorus Competition, the class also represented SCC and won the Best Choreography Award organized by the Science and Education Innovation Zone. The class enjoyed works and actively participated in physical exercises and also won the group second prize award and several individual awards and first prize of physical fitness from the School’s Fun Sports Competition.

Social Practice

Students would make use of their spare time, participated in various volunteering service activities, pay careful attention to social vulnerable groups, participated in online student aid volunteer activities, special childcare activities, and publicized party’s history and culture to exercise and strengthen their practical abilities. 

During the epidemic period, these students spontaneously participated and served as volunteers for community epidemic prevention and control, assisted the community in data statistics and submission of epidemic prevention and control. In order to win the battle of COVID-19, these students contributed their capabilities and shared epidemic prevention and control information in class groups to remind everyone in self-protection, and strictly abide the requirements of epidemic prevention.

Glory Achieved & Keep Forging 

E-Commerce Class of 2001 is united, friendly, enterprising, rigorous, and well disciplined. Each students contributed their efforts in order to achieve the honorary title that fully embodies the School of Business training concept of “Talent can be found and be shown”.

Practice proved that individual’s brave struggle makes a person better. Everyone’s joint efforts created collective brilliances. Unity and keep forging ahead is an important experience to overcome difficulties and achieve remarkable results. They shall continue to hold high the banner of ideals and beliefs, unite the majestic force of unity and strive to build a more advanced and outstanding class in future.
