Centennial College Degree Programs are four-year programs that offer students both the practical skills needed to perform well in the job they want, and the theoretical background to give graduates the extensive subject knowledge that employers are looking for.

Joint Programs with the University of Toronto (Scarborough)
Centennial College offers two joint programs with the University of Toronto Scarborough in journalism and new media studies. For both programs, students apply directly to the University of Toronto Scarborough Campus (UTSC) for admissions.
New Media Studies Joint Program
UTSC/Centennial College Journalism Joint Program
Applicants must apply directly via the university application portal.If accepted by the university, the student enrolled in the joint degree program will transfer to Centennial College after starting their studies at UTSC. The Journalism program is offered with years 1, 2 and 4 at UTSC. The New Media Studies program is offered with years 1 and 3 at UTSC, and Year 2 at Centennial.
UTSC & Centennial have also partnered to develop Canada’s first net-zero vertical farm!
Centennial College is proud to initiate the design and development of a Clean Technology Facility (CTF) in collaboration with the University of Toronto Scarborough (UTSC). The CTF will be Canada’s first net-zero vertical farm, living lab, training and research facility. *

After graduating from Centennial College, Zou Mengxuan continued her studies at Ryerson University in Toronto. “The classroom size in college is smaller, and you get to know different perspectives, especially doing group projects. University is focused on academic research while college is focused on being hands-on, which helps a lot in the job market,” she says.
