"Visiting Enterprises and Expanding Employment Opportunities" (Episode 4)
To expand employment opportunities and solve the problem of student employment difficulties, the School of Business attaches great importance to students' career development, employment, and entrepreneurship. At the beginning of this semester, the school launched the "Visiting Enterprises and Expanding Employment Opportunities", led by the Dean of School, the Program Coordinators, professors, and administrative staff were mobilized to form task teams that actively visited key enterprises, invited them onto the campus, carried out targeted disciplinary and program integration and expanded employment channels.
As the summer "Visiting Enterprises and Expanding Employment Opportunities" began in April, Ms. Chenyu, Xu, Ms. Xiaosi, Ma and Ms. Jinmei, Liu Program Coordinator of the Big Data and Accounting program, visited Lujin Property Service Group Co., Ltd. located at No. 9 Nanxieyu Street, Fenghuang New World, Suzhou Industrial Park. The company has been honored as one of the "Top 100 Property Service Enterprises in China" for four consecutive years and is a standing member unit of the China Property Management Association. Its parent company, Lujin Real Estate Group, has a good reputation for providing high-quality services in Suzhou.
Mr. Guo, the CFO, warmly welcomed the visiting guests and expressed the belief that the service industry will be the mainstream direction of future employment and entrepreneurship under the background of both aging population and big data. He also mentioned that property services have undergone revolutionary changes driven by the times and innovation, breaking away from traditional property services. Meanwhile, Mr. Guo introduced the company's management mechanism, development prospects, talent requirements, and cooperation intentions. He expressed a strong desire for further strengthening cooperation between the school and the enterprise in terms of industry-university integration and resource sharing.
During the meeting, representatives from both sides had in-depth discussions on talent cultivation, vocational skills training, and expanding internship and employment opportunities. Ms. Shuxin, Li, Director of HR and Administration of the company, stated that the company could accept 20 interns to engage in project cashiering, operation management, and other positions, providing pre-job training and promotion training. In addition, students could visit projects to help them learn and practice related work content. The enterprise representatives confirmed that there is a sound talent cultivation system within the company, and both interns and employees have established career paths and promotion channels.
Our School of Business has close ties with the company in terms of business management, marketing, e-commerce, big data and accounting, international economics, and trade programs. Professors of the School of Business proposed the idea of "Lecture by Enterprise Professions," where industry professionals and experienced workers could share their experiences, cultivate students' service awareness and help them establish a more comprehensive understanding of modern service industries.
This "Visiting Enterprises and Expanding Employment Opportunities" lays a solid foundation for deep cooperation between the school and the enterprise in terms of talent cultivation, project cooperation, recruitment, and employment. It further enhances the integration between talent cultivation and employers, explores more job opportunities for graduates, and fully promotes high-quality employment.
