“The Art of Chinese Storytelling” The Successful Completion of the First Chinese-English Speech Competition
In order to celebrate the arrival of May, develop students' patriotism and cultural confidence, create a campus atmosphere of "rooted in Chinese culture and integrating with the international community," and improve our students' communication skills, the first "Chinese Storytelling" English speech competition was successfully held on May 24th, 2023 in the Annex Building G auditorium. The event was organized by the College Students Committee and hosted by the School of Business, with the cooperation from the School of Liberal Arts. The judging panel included Vice President Kay Li, Zhang, Dean Lynn Lin, Zhang, Dean Karen Keran, Zhang and Ms. Julie Tung.

“Visiting Enterprises and Expanding Employment Opportunities” (Episode 6)
The School of Business led by Dean Lynn Lin, Zhang visited Sumitomo Bakelite Co., Ltd. in Suzhou in April, accompanied by Professor Evonne Chenyu, Xu and Professor Tony Yongtao, Shen, to have a field visit and discuss potential cooperation plans with the company. The aim was to help business students better understand the current employment situation in the industry and the demand of employers, while providing useful guidance on their career development.

“The meaning of life extends beyond the classroom to the kitchen.”In order to further enrich and improve the professional practical teaching system, strengthen the systematic training of professional talents, and provide a good platform for interaction and communication among students, the School of Business launched the "Cooking in the Classroom" activity for the Hotel Operations Management program.
